A quick update on the Amban Phase-Pulse Rifle project!
First of all, thank you all for your patience. The model is very close to being finished, but this project ended up being a bit more complex than expected because I wanted to include as many functional features as possible.
The rifle has a working trigger, a moving bullet chamber with the locking knob, removable ammunition, and several other moving parts. On top of that, I'm trying to make everything as easy to assemble as possible, with simple access to the internal mechanisms in case anything ever needs maintenance or replacement.
At this point, the model is almost complete. Right now I'm test-printing all of the mechanism parts to make sure everything works reliably and is easy to build. I'd rather spend a little extra time refining things now than release it and immediately have to start working on a V2.
The test prints are running as we speak, and as soon as everything checks out, the project will be released!
In the meantime, while the printers are doing their thing, I've already started working on several other projects. So even though this month is getting off to a slightly late start, that's pretty normal for larger builds like this. The good news is that therewill still be quite a bit of new stuff coming your way this month :)
